Master's Message, November 2024

Hello Brethren,

Our November communication will be another eventful evening for Adelphoi Lodge. We will be welcoming the Grand Master Andre Faria to our Lodge for his East Bay visit. The program for the evening will be a jazz performance by Al Testa’s jazz and brass quartet. The Grand Master is a musician, so I am sure he will be delighted with our choice of program. Special thank you to Brother Ryan McCauley for making the arrangements for us.

The evening’s program will be semi public so all are invited. Dinner will be served at 5:45 in St. Andrew’s Temple, with the Lodge opening at 6:45 sharp! We have a few business item to complete before the DDGM enters the Lodge at 7:15. Please allow plenty of time for travel over the bridge. I expect all brothers, especially officers, to be dressed appropriately for dinner and the meeting. I believe it is imperative that Adelphoi Lodge makes a positive impression for this event. I am sure there will be plenty of visitors attending. I want them to leave with a positive view of the Lodge, not just for my sake, but for all of us as members of the Lodge. Let us show the rest of the jurisdiction and the public that we are all be proud to be members of Adelphoi! I hope that those brothers who have not been present in Lodge lately will take this opportunity to come back to the Lodge and enjoy an evening with all your Brothers.

I would like to fill a table for the Grand Master’s Fall festival (see the attached flyer). Please email or text me if you are interested, along with your meal choice. I will get to Grand Lodge to reserve our table. The cut off is Nov.5th, the day of our meeting, so I need to know before that day. Again, let us make a good impression. I can assure you that many Grand Lodge officers are working behind the scenes to support our Lodge, we need to show our appreciation for that support.

Congratulations to our officers and newest brother who completed the EA degree at the last meeting. Thank you to W Jim McCarthy who will be working with Brother Adalpe on his Masonic journey. Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday Nov. 5th.

Fraternally yours,

Worshipful David J. Cardullo
