Hello Brethren,
I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who attended Septembers meeting. It was a very emotional meeting all around. Thank you to everyone who stood up to say a few words in my father's honor. It meant a lot to me and I know it would have meant a lot to him.
We conducted the second half to our EA. I would like to congratulate everyone on a job well done. Especially our Brother Secretary Ed Kdonian. The lectures were amazing.
Brother Lance Chappell received his 50 year pin and gave his story of how he became a mason. Answering a question I had asked of what made you become a mason. We heard several good stories on how everyone joined. I'd like to thank everyone who shared their story. It was very nice to have the candidate there to hear those and it was nice to learn a little bit more about everyone.
Following that precedent. I have another question I would like to discuss with everyone. "What was your favorite experience that you have had being a mason"? I feel like we had a good time with the first question so I'm going to try to come up with one of these for each month.
We will be opening again in the EA degree. So our newest brother can enjoy the openings and get that experience needed that comes with being new to the craft.
Well that's all for me this month. Stay safe out there, I hope to see everyone in October.
Worshipful Master,
James McCarthy Jr.
