Master's Message December 2020
Hello Brethren,
As we come the end of another masonic year at Adelphoi Lodge, some may think it was an easy year for me. I can't say that Ii feel the same way. Now I realize perhaps I wasn't one of the better Masters Adelphoi has had and I would be the first to admit it.
To start off with we had the question as whether or not to relocate from St. Andrews Temple to Freemason’s Hall to deal with. It took a few months to get it settled but we did. Then this Covid-19 pandemic which really messed the rest of the year up. I was hoping we were going to get the By Laws revision completed, but that seems to have been forgotten and I will take the blame for that. Perhaps I wasn’t diligent enough with the officers doing the work. Then there was the finances of the lodge, we did have one or two meetings and made some progress in that area. I hope that those who follow me can keep their eye on the ball to build our finances back up.
Aside from that, I can't help but comment on our member’s participation in our zoom meetings. It has been disappointing to say the least. I hope that the next Master has better attendance. I do want to thank W:. Dane Pursley and W:. Milton Kaiser for their invaluable help at the beginning of the year. I just want to say THANK YOU. We have one more meeting after this one at which I will turn the gavel and the charter over to a new Master and wish him nothing but the best. If I can be of any help just ask.
For now, let me wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Better, New Year in 2021!
As always, yours in the Craft,
J. Pat Paolo,
Worshipful Master
