Master's Message October 2014

Brethren,

At September’s meeting we had 33 members and 1 guest present. I invited W:. Mars Bishop to sit in the east with me. W:. Bishop is the oldest living Past Master of Adelphoi Lodge. W:.Mars was Master in 1962. I had the pleasure of having W:. Bishop’s assistance in closing the lodge. W:. Mars and I have been friends for many years. He is a very faithful Masonic Brother and true friend. We had a fun evening last month. We all went to dinner at the Madeira Restaurant after the meeting.

We will have a special meeting on Tuesday September 30. The of-ficers will put on the EA degree on one candidate. Mr. Chace Osborne Pursley will receive his first step in Masonry. We will have a light din-ner between the first and second sections. Octobers meeting night will be a medal night .We will give pins to many of the Brethren with five or more years.

Brethren we will have our second game dinner on October 18th at St. Andrews Temple, 18 Turner Ave., Riverside RI. Dinner starts at 1;00PM cost of only $30.00 per person. The food is outstanding. I guarantee you will be not able to eat all the food that wil be provided by Ralphs Kitchen. Brethren, please feel free to bring a guest with you. It is open to everyone

Save December 14th for our annual Christmas Party. It will be held at the RI Shrine club, starting at 4:00PM. Details will come short-ly.

At this time I would like to thank our Senior Steward, Brother Pat Paolo, for all the work he has done for Adelphoi Lodge this past year. It has been, and continues to be a pleasure to work with him. It will help him if we make our reservation for dinner on time. Many Brethren make their reservations at the last minute. It would help is you would call five days before the event. This little detail makes it easier on Pat and I’m sure he would really appreciate it. Hope to see many Brethren present at both meeting nights Tuesday September 30, and Tuesday Oc-tober 7.
